"God is in the sun and the stars"

Everything is God

God is here and there,

God is everywhere.

In the wind 

and in the rain

God reigns

and always remains.

I can see

through all of the disguises.

God rises

through surprises

even the sun rises.

God is now.

God is in the sun 

and the stars.

never disregarding me

 always guarding me,

 arming me 

with love. 

God ignites my beautiful white light

makes it bright

I gain sight

So that I may cast out, 

and walk past the shadows.

God is in my joy, in my tears 

and in my pain,

steadily remains.

God helps me

break the chains 

that I have trained my mind,

to define me.

Unkind thoughts 

made me blind.

God is in every smile and frown.

Look closely, 

God is all around

In every sight and sound.

God can be found.

In every being, 

God can be seen.

Look closely

between 

yourself and another.

You can uncover 

and discover 

God is one another.
